Position Summary:
This role requires a valid CDL and is responsible for safely moving large hazmat trailers in tight yard spaces to support daily operations. The position demands strong driving skills, attention to safety, and the ability to carefully maneuver and position trailers in a fast-paced environment.
HOURS: 10:00pm - 6:30am central Monday through Friday
PAY: $27.37 July 2026 + $0.75 shift differential & bonus (paid biweekly)
LOCATION: 7501 Page Ave St. Louis, MO

What You'll Do:
Operate standard highway and industrial trucks on company property.- If possible, eventual movement or delivery to local STERIS facilities given the appropriate certification is obtained.
Regular movement of trailers from blocked positions at the discretion of supervisor(s).- Must exercise caution to avoid damaging material or property while operating equipment and must always exercise caution for the safety of other employees and the public.
Load and/or unload materials on company-operated trucks as needed.
Moving and loading hazardous waste, as directed by the supervisor.
Daily care of equipment in charge, such as cleaning the equipment, checking oil, water, and battery, and entering this information onto log sheets.- Responsible for adding these items as needed.
Maintain written and/or electronic records as required by management (i.e., cGMP and ISO procedures).- Operate two-way-radio with leadership to communicate lot moves and updates.
Always maintain cleanliness of equipment and surrounding work area.
Skills, Abilities, and Experience:
REQUIRED:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Current and valid Missouri CDL (A) license.
Manual dexterity and good peripheral vision.
Basic math, writing, and data entry skills - high school equivalent.
Ability to:
wear personal protective equipment, as needed.
PREFERRED:
Class C CDL License and/or (hazmat/tanker certifications).
Prior expereince with manual move tracking using a two-way-radio.
Strong verbal communication skills with team members.
Experience performing basic truck maintenance.
Experience operating electric forklifts as needed.
OTHER:
May be expected to move, carry, and lift approximately 60 pounds.
May be expected to climb heights of approximately 10 feet and sit forlong periodsof time.
Good hand/eye coordination.
Ability necessary quality and inventory control data gathering and input in either written or electronic formats.
Must hold a valid Missouri CDL license or equivalent.
