CocuSocial is one of North America's leading providers of hands-on culinary experiences, bringing people together through fun, social, and accessible cooking classes. Our experiences take place at unique partner venues including breweries, cafés, hotels, and event spaces across our growing network of cities.

We handle the marketing, ticket sales, customer service, venue partnerships, and event logistics so our Chef Instructors can focus on what they do best: creating memorable experiences and sharing their passion for food.

Job Description



CocuSocial is seeking experienced Chef Instructors to lead fun, hands-on cooking classes in Denver .

Our classes are designed for guests of all skill levels and are focused on creating a fun, social, and approachable experience rather than a traditional culinary-school environment. Classes typically accommodate up to 26 guests and are highly interactive, with instructors guiding guests through recipes and techniques in a welcoming group setting.

Chef Instructors are responsible for leading the full class experience, including ingredient purchasing, preparation, setup, instruction, and cleanup. We are looking for chefs who are confident working with groups, enjoy teaching, and can create an engaging experience for beginner and experienced home cooks alike.

Classes are offered on a flexible, part-time basis, with opportunities ranging from a few classes per month to multiple classes per week depending on availability and demand.

Class Concepts We're Looking For

We are currently seeking instructors comfortable teaching one or more of the following:

  • Pad Thai
  • Paella
  • Street Tacos
  • Empanadas
  • French Pastry & Choux
  • Mixology
  • Wine Tasting
  • Handmade Pasta
  • Sushi Making
  • Neapolitan or Artisan Pizza

Additional cuisines, specialties, and class concepts are welcome.

Qualifications

  • Professional culinary background or equivalent culinary experience
  • Passion for food and enthusiasm for sharing culinary knowledge with others
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable speaking to and engaging groups of up to 26 guests
  • Ability to create a fun, welcoming, and beginner-friendly learning environment
  • Strong organization and time-management skills
  • Ability to maintain high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Prior experience teaching cooking classes, culinary education, demonstrations, team training, or other instructional environments is preferred
  • Availability to teach in person in the Denver area

Additional Information



Job Type: Part-time, Contract

Compensation: $200–$350+ per class, plus guest tips

Work Location: In person at CocuSocial partner venues throughout the Denver area.
