Job Description

Labcorp seeks a float phlebotomist for their Mishawaka, Indiana location to perform blood collections and specimen processing across multiple northern Indiana sites. This role offers varied assignments with flexible scheduling and opportunities for professional development within a diagnostic laboratory services organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for patients of all ages
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol screening
• Enter patient information and process billing data accurately and timely
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain specimen and patient information logs
• Travel between Mishawaka, South Bend, Goshen, and Angola clinic locations as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• One year or more of phlebotomy experience
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Phlebotomy certification from accredited agency (in lieu of work experience)
