Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician
Job Description

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for installing and removing wiring, motors, and circuits during the repair or installation of equipment. You will also handle the installation, diagnosis, repair, and replacement of electronic/electrical devices, including instruments, controls, test equipment, motors, motor controls, power distribution panels, circuits, wiring, closed-loop control systems, semiconductor systems, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Additionally, you will troubleshoot variable frequency drives (VFDs), DC powered equipment, and equipment with voltage levels of 480 volts and lower.

Responsibilities

  • Install and remove wiring, motors, and circuits during equipment repair or installation.
  • Diagnose, repair, and replace electronic/electrical devices as needed.
  • Work with electronic/electrical instruments, controls, test equipment, motors, motor controls, power distribution panels, circuits, wiring, closed-loop control systems, semiconductor systems, and PLCs.
  • Troubleshoot VFDs, DC powered equipment, and anything with voltage levels of 480 volts and lower.
Essential Skills
  • Journeyman Electrician or Maintenance Electrician certification.
  • Experience in industrial maintenance, specifically with PLC troubleshooting.
  • Ability to follow ladder logic diagrams.
  • Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, particularly with 480v equipment and below.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience or an associate degree.
  • 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Journeyman Card or associate degree in a related field.

Work Environment

Work in a large manufacturing environment that features both new and old equipment. The facility can be hotter during the summers, accommodating over 240 employees. The third shift runs from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am, Sunday night through Thursday night, offering paid breaks including two 10-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch.

The pay range for this position is $61880.00 - $66560.00/yr.
